Jon Lithgow
Production Designer | Art Director
For over 30 years, I’ve been lucky enough to make a living doing what I love - designing, building and bringing ideas to life for film, television, commercials and beyond.
I’m based in Auckland, New Zealand, where I live with my family and work across projects of all shapes and sizes, from large-scale productions and ambitious builds to the smallest details that help bring an idea together.
My work has taken me around the world, including the United States, Chile, Argentina, Japan and China, as well as throughout the Pacific in Australia, Rarotonga and Fiji. Closer to home, I’ve worked in just about every corner of New Zealand.
After three decades in the industry, I still love the challenge of taking an idea from the page and figuring out how to make it happen.
This site is a selection of my work in Production Design and Art Direction, both here in New Zealand and internationally.
Thanks for taking a look.
